Tele-tubbey land (ie Cambridge University School of Applied Mathematics)

The Cambridge University School of Applied Mathematics is such an unusual complex, I thought it deserves a blog. I particularly like the section that is the "Sir Isiac Newton School of Applied Mathematics." The following photos gives some idea of it's uniqueness. I don't know what is required to gain admission to the school, but I can't imagine it is easy.

Cambridge University - August 21, 2009

      We started our last full day in Europe with breakfast at Phil and Zoe's house. We dropped G off to spend time in thrift shops while Phil and I went to Tele-tubbey land (see post by same name. It is actually the Applied Mathematics section of Cambridge University.)  We spent most of the morning photographing various sites on campus and ended up meeting G at a church that was also a restaurant. We toured Trinity Cathedral and then walked around town for some time.

Punting - Cambridge UK

 There is not much about Punting that I can tell you other than it is a lot of fun; it is a big deal in Cambrdge; it can be done by people who have zero experience at it and I did not see anyone end up in the water. The river is a couple of miles long and goes thru the center of Cambridge. G, Phil and I all took our turns and we had a great laugh.
